Playroom Remodel! Part 1

Anthony asked for projects to keep him busy while he was on leave so I decided it was time to paint the playroom and spiff it up for the kids. We hadn't done a thing to the room since we moved in but put toys in it. They have been really awesome this year and with our lifestyle they've put up with a lot of moving in the past few years.
We want this house to feel like the home it is. We wanted them to have spaces they love. That they can really feel at peace in. So they are getting it.
We've built a toy box, painted the nasty sage green walls white to prime them, and added a new light fixture that give a lot more head room so far. Tomorrow Anthony and my Dad will finish painting the walls the fun colors and we will move the toys back in.
Playroom color before! PUKE!

Adios Green!

So much better. Can't wait for the fun designs to come!

A Warm Day in November!

The last two days here in NNY have been AMAZING! Luckily today I had the day off of work and I got to spend all day with my littles. It was the best day we've had in awhile. We got to spend the day with some friends we haven't seen in awhile, play at the park and take a few photos.

I've been slacking.....

We have had a couple of very warm days so we took advantage and drew with chalk!

And laid in leaves.

In general Just smiled a lot

Not blogging for a few weeks was worth it. I worked a ton at work and enjoyed what time I did have home with the kids.

Our Sunday.......

After Anthony took the kids to a Classmate birthday party and I got off work we started in on some projects! Our white front door was to go through a make over to a beautiful red (Benjamin Moores Caliente) and my van was to get new brakes and rotors.

Lets start with our front door. Its supposed to be the center piece of your house and this white door just wasn't doing it for us. Don't get me wrong it was still inviting but not as inviting as we'd like. It just sat there behind our beautiful screen door but never popped. So after careful consideration Anthony and myself chose to go red. :) Well I wanted purple but red won. lol Do you know how hard it was to find the right shade of red by the way?

{Pretty but not popping}
